Supriya Sule is an MP belonging to The Nationalist Congress Party from Maharashtra. Daughter of veteran politician Sharad Pawar, Supriya has been active in supporting women’s issues campaigning against female foeticide and creating a platform – the Rashtravadi Yuvati Congress – to encourage young women to join politics. For her work on gender issues she was honored with the Mumbai Women of the Decade Achievers Award by the ALL Ladies League
