A spokesperson for the BJP and well known political commentator, Shazia Ilmi was a television journalist and anchor at Star News before joining politics. She made her mark as a spokesperson for the India Against Corruption movement led by Anna Hazare in 2011 and 2012 before joining the Aam Admi Party lead by Arvind Kejriwal. She is also a director at Engineers India Ltd.
