The daughter of veteran Bollywood stars Sanjay and Nargis Dutt, Priya Dutt served two terms as the MP from Mumbai for the Indian National Congress. Priya actively supports a number of social causes including the empowerment of women through employment schemes like Aashayein and the Priyadarshini Taxi Service. She also heads the Nargis Dutt Memorial Charitable Trust which supports a number of initiatives to raise awareness and provide treatment for cancer patients.
