PRINCESS SIDDHI KUMARI OF BIKANER

Daughter of Narendra Singh Bahadur of Bikaner, Siddhi Kumari has made her mark as an upcoming BJP MLA from Bikaner East winning three elections since 2008 when the constituency was created. But perhaps her most unique project is the founding and curating of the Prachina museum and cultural center in Bikaner which has given a new lease of life to the famous craftsmen of the erstwhile princely state. Unlike other royals who have turned their palaces into museums, Siddhi Kumari together with her mother Maharani Padma Kumari and her grandmother curated the museum from their own collections. Three generations of women have come together to breathe new life into the past and present of the state of Bikaner. The museum has an online shop selling paintings from the state and other items which are also sold through other retail outlets including Royal Fables.​
