Prashanti Singh is the most decorated woman basketball player in India, holding the Indian record for 23 medals in national championships. She has represented India in the 2006 Commonwealth Games, the 2010 and 2014 Asian Games, and six FIBA Asia Women’s Championships. For her decade long contribution to the game, the 33 year old shooting guard from Varanasi became only the third woman to win the Arjuna Award.
