India’s only plus size model with a global following, Mona Varonica Campbell, has been listed among the top three most successful trans women in the world. Following studies at the National Institute of Fashion Design, she won a scholarship to the prestigious London School of Fashion from where she moved to Canada and a stint with MAC cosmetics and Bobby Brown, while modelling for a top agency. Last year, she was the show stopper for leading designer Wendell Rodericks at the Lakme fashion week.
